Don’t worry – I haven’t forgotten about LoreGen! It’s just been a busy several months, and it’s been put on the backburner.
I recently started a new job as a full time .NET software developer, which I’ve really enjoyed. It’s given me the opportunity to learn a whole lot about intelligent software design, along with some of the ins-and-outs of C# programming. The good news is that it’ll help me develop LoreGen more quickly and productively. The bad news is that it’s made me realize a lot of mistakes I’ve made as I’ve developed it so far, and made it obvious that the code needs a major refactoring, if not a from-scratch rebuild.
I’m not worried about that at the moment, though: I’m still focused on refining my skills until I feel confident enough to transition back to LoreGen.
I’ve also put together a couple small side projects and at some point I’ll post links to them here.
Hello, this might not be the place for this comment. But how do I save a world with all of its data.
